A small gesture, a double impact

The Hamster network has been a partner of the Mira Foundation's cartridge recovery program since 2016. Your cartridges may be out of ink, but they're still full of potential.

  •

    For the planet

Cartridges are sorted and sold to recycling partners. Those that can't be recycled are destroyed in an environmentally responsible way, keeping tons of waste out of landfills.

  •

    For Mira's mission

The money raised helps fund the training of Mira dogs, given free of charge to the people who need them, regardless of income.

  •

    Simple and free

From registration to recycling, including pickup, the program costs you nothing and takes very little effort.

450,000

  1. 1

    We collect

Mira collects eligible laser and inkjet cartridges from businesses, individuals and drop-off points like ours.

  2. 2

    We sort

The cartridges are taken to Mira's sorting centre in Neuville, where the warehouse team sorts them using a digital system.

  3. 3

    We recycle

Once sorted, they are sold to recycling partners. Cartridges that can't be recycled are destroyed in an environmentally responsible way.

    We change lives

The money raised funds the training of Mira dogs, and tons of waste stay out of landfills.
